How do I setup my Echo notifications?

1. From the homepage click the profile icon from the top toolbar.

2. Select "Settings" from the drop down menu.

Before setting up notifications, add an email and/or phone number for notifications to be sent to.

Within the "Community notifications" one can be notified when someone:

• Joins a team (group) owned by the user
• Creates a conversation in a group the user owns or is a member of
• Posts in a conversation the user owns
• Replies to a message (a post made to a conversation)
• Copies or links to user content

Note:

• Choose either daily or weekly depending on how often notifications are wanted.
• SMS is a text sent to the phone number given in "Notification Preferences"

Within the "Base course notifications" one can be notified when in a base course they teach, someone:

• Changes the course settings
• Changes an activity
• Deletes an activity

Note:

Within the "Teacher notifications" one can be notified when:

• A student submits something
• A student's grade drops below passing
• A student's enrollment status changes

Note:

• Choose either daily or weekly depending on how often notifications are wanted.
• SMS is a text sent to the phone number given in "Notification Preferences"

Now that notifications are set up for the community, master courses and teacher, select "Save"

Note: Notification settings can be changed at anytime.

In the Observer notifications card, indicate which notifications you want to receive and how you want to receive them and click Save:

• By SMS and/or Email
• Daily and/or Weekly
