Why is a course still appearing/not appearing on the homepage?

If a course is still appearing on the homepage when it shouldn't, or a course is not appearing and it should, the enrollment end dates for the user will need to be adjusted.

Enrollment start/end dates are different from course start/end dates. Enrollment dates control the visibility of a course on a user's homepage.

  • A user will not see the course on their homepage until their enrollment start date, regardless of course start/end date.
  • A user will still see courses on their homepage until 14 days after their enrollment date passes.


A teacher can see if their course enrollment has passed by viewing past courses.


If a course enrollment needs to be adjusted so that someone can see or no longer see a course on their homepage, an Echo Admin will need to do so. See this article for more information.
