How do I add content from the Digital Library?

The digital library is for accessing course content (especially past courses) that exist in your own domain (or a shared domain) AND published content like Khan Academy. Easily browse, preview, and add content from external content providers

If you are looking for the NTN Project Library or to browse projects and activities from across the Network you want to use The Community Tool.

Click the "Editor" icon on the course that will have content added from the Digital Library.

 

 

Select the folder to add Digital Library content to. Then click the "+Add to..." link.

 

 

In the popup window, click on "Library".

 

 

Locate a library to search.

Click on that library.

 

Search content specific material.

 

 

1. Select content.

2. Select "Copy activity".

 

Tip: Echo won't let you copy more than 500 activities at a time to copy over, so in this case if you checked "Select All" for each unit, you might get an error message.

  1. Open the Course Editor from the Main Menu.
  2. Select the folder to which you want to add Digital Library content.
  3. Click the plus (add) icon and select Search Library.

  1. From this screen choose Library

Scroll down until you see the library you would like.

Click on that library

From here you can search for the course you want to check out.

  1. From here, you can explore courses by clicking open
  2. Select All to have all activities imported into your course
  3. Click Copy Activity

Tip:

Echo won't let you copy more than 500 activities at a time to copy over, so in this case if you checked Select All for each unit, you might get an error message.
