How do I create audio/video feedback for students?

Echo allows a facilitator to quickly record audio/video feedback. This gives the opportunity to provide clear, personal, and extensive feedback and can be accessed easily by students.

Audio/video feedback can be given when grading activities within the "Grade Editor" or "Activity Grader" by clicking the audio or video icons. Because the feature can be disabled by your system administrator, be sure to check if these settings are configured within your school's domain.

How do I give Audio/Video feedback?

From the homepage, click the "Editor" icon located on the course card that has an activity that needs audio/video feedback.

Within the gradebook, click on the "Activities" tab.

Within the "Activity" tool, click on the assignment that needs audio/video feedback.

Select a student to give audio/video feedback to.

Click the audio/video icon.

  • Record up to three minutes of audio or video by selecting the "record radio" button and then clicking record (there may be a prompt to permit the program to use computer's camera and microphone).
  • or select the "upload radio" button and click "choose file" to upload an audio/video file.

Click "Ok" when feedback is complete.
