Assigning Differentiated Activities
Let's say, in a course of yours, you have two versions of the same assignment. One that is the orignial version and one that is modified. You may only want some of your students to see the original and some to see the modified version which you can easily do using the groups setting feature.
Navigate to the course editor from the main menu
Click the group settings tab.
From the group set drop down, make sure to select the groups you created for differentiation.
Locate the differentiated assignments.
Adjust which group can see which assignment by turning on and off the visibility.
Shutting off the visibility for one group, will eliminate it from their course and from their gradebook.
Leaving the visibility on for both groups will allow both assignments to show for all students in their course and in their gradebook.
