How do I update Echo User Fields?

Note: This document references views and actions that are only available to Echo Administrators

Within Echo, we identify 3 meta fields that help you to easily and quickly find users. (see below for field definitions) The School Browser and Grade Reporting tools rely on these fields to be populated to display current student grade and course data.

We recommend that Echo Administrators ensure these fields are populate before the beginning of the school year.

EchoUserType – Identifies the user type with these options: staff, parent, student, testaccount (used for your Demo Student accounts)

EchoGradYear – Identifies the users graduation year. It stores a four-digit number (ie, 2020)

EchoIEP – Identifies if the user has an IEP on file.  Options are “Yes” and “No”.
