Echo has a personal note-taking feature that lets teachers and students create notes and attach them to courses, folders, and activities. After creating notes, teachers and students can review and edit them at any time.
These notes are intended for personal use and only the creator can access them.
NOTE: This feature must be turned on by your Echo administrator. Click here to learn about advanced features and how your Echo admin can turn them on or off.
Create Notes
Enter a course through the activities button.

Click the notes icon located in the top toolbar.

Click the (+) sign at the bottom of the right panel.

- Enter the note as plain text in the window that appears. Use hashtags with terms to make notes easily searchable. Click save when note is complete.
- This note is now saved and attached to the specific activity, folder or course where it was created. To access this note at a later time, select go to all notes.

You can also access all notes created by you in any course by selecting the notes icon in the main menu.

View notes in past courses by toggling the view past courses button.

Review, Edit, and Delete Notes
To review, edit, and delete notes click the notes icon in the main menu.

1. Select the note that needs reviewed, edited, or deleted.
2. Make the desired changes and click save.
