You can easily set a default platform language for a domain, as well as provide other language options that other users can choose.
Note: This changes only the language of the platform, itself. Content generated within the platform with the rich text editors (activities, agendas, etc), and content imported is not translated.
Set a default language
Whichever language you choose as the default language, needs to be added to the language options for users as well.
- Open the More menu in the toolbar of Domain Details.
- Select Domain Settings.
- Scroll to the Language card and open the Default language dropdown.
- Select your desired language.
- Save.
Set up language options for users
If you set a default language above, you need to set up at least that language as an option for users.
- Open the More menu in the toolbar of Domain Details.
- Select Domain Settings.
3. Scroll to the Language card and open the Languages that users can choose dropdown.
- Check the boxes next to the languages you'd like to make available.
- Save.
A Language option appears in the User menu for everyone in the domain.
