Off-boarding a school is initiated by a notification submitted to the Echo Help Center by the contract administrators. The notification will state whether the school is leaving the network entirely (full off-boarding), will no longer use Echo as an LMS with students but will continue to need staff accounts in Echo to preserve access to NTN resources (Echo off-boarding), or is continuing to use Echo as an LMS but will no longer have access to NTN resources (network off-boarding).
Full Off-boarding
- Add (INACTIVE) in the school(s) title
- Update meta data fields: Content Access = No, Coaching Access = No, Echo Licenses = 0, Membership Licenses = 0, NTN Membership Status = Inactive
- Revoke all user permissions in the domain
- Bulk update all user accounts to Inactive status.
- Delete accounts in Echo Help Desk associated with the school
Echo Off-boarding (NTN Network Status Maintained)
- Revoke all user permissions in the domain
- Bulk update all Student accounts to Inactive (preserve Staff accounts)
- Delete accounts in Echo Help Desk associated with the school
Network Off-boarding (Echo Use Maintained)
- Update meta data fields: Content Access = No, Coaching Access = No, Membership Licenses = 0, NTN Membership Status = Inactive
- Update or add domain Feature Settings to communityprofile="false"
